Until is a poem that echoes the anticipation of both a season and a soldier coming back. The lines focus on the girl glancing out the window. She is the embodiment of Marie-France's beautiful painting, "Ecoute Mon Amie".

After a long separation caused by war, she eagerly waits for change, for the wind to release its southerly breath and Spring to bloom along the barren fields. Yet, none of this will happen until nature responds with a bird singing in the barn and dry grass breaking under the footsteps of her lover. And whenever he does re-enter the scene, the breeze will be warm on the sky's tongue, urging her --- to run out my friend, run out!.
